CT - Cafe Au Lait Freebie - Mommy Made This

Mommy Made This (click on the preview to go to blog) has a fantastic new kit for all the coffee lovers out there "Cafe Au Lait". I have to admit, I have had to cut back on my beloved coffee, but this kit has great colours and  can be used for loads of other photos. 

For example my beautiful little niece Tegan has the most beautiful and majestic blue eyes, which the blues in this kit where able to capture. What do you think?????

She is a lot older now than what she is in this photo, but this photo I think captures her cheeky personality and her girly charm. 

Now I am really sorry for not providing you with much the last few weeks. I unfortunately have been unwell and my boy is also unwell. So if we had the time or energy for anything it was feeding ourselves ;-) However as always I have a freebie for this new Kit, it is only a very basic word art (as I can't sit at the computer for long periods, so could not pay too much attention or detail to this freebie) but I think it say's how much I love my coffee.   Mommy Made This has a new kit called Alphabet Zoo. I just loved working with this kit, as a big passion of mine is animals and it was perfect to journal some of our precious memories from our holiday last year to the Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo, NSW. This is my CT layout of a picture I took while we were feeding the giraffes. I thought it was hilarious.

Freebi Mini Kit - Groovy

 Ok all I have my first ever mini kit available for download. 

My inspiration for this kit was loads of photos I have of dress up parties from the 60's 70's and 80's. I needed bright and contrasting colours that matched my photos and the clothes that me and my family/friends are wearing. 

The colours are brighter than I would usually design but they fit those crazy out there bright outfits we all wear to dress up parties.

Thursday's Super Mum's

Thursday's Super Mum's are the two greatest Nan's a girl could ever ask for. Both of my Nan's have always been there for me and both give the best hugs you could ever imagine. I don't get to see them often and I didn't grow up near them, but I know that I am always in their thoughts and that their love for me is pure and unconditional. 

My Nan's have been through so much in their lives and have worked so hard to raise their families ( my beautiful parents and Aunties and Uncles) and would do anything to spend time with their grandchildren and now the hordes of great grandchildren. I cherish the talks and every moment that we have been able to share together. 

So to my Nan Tregenza (Tall Nan) and Nan Dell (Little Nan), I want to thank you so much for everything. You are both beautiful women who have inspired and encouraged me my whole life and helped to mold me into the woman I am today.

Wednesday Super Mum

Today's Super Mum is my oldest and dearest friend Cassandra.

Cassi is doing it tough and is an inspiration for raising her most adorable son Thomas, all by herself. Granted she has a wonderful family who are there to support her and her own super mum who has always been there for me too. But the constant struggles of raising a child and the sacrifices she has had to make for him is insurmountable and yet she will do anything for him, no matter what. 

Not only is she a wonderful mother, but she is also a wonderful friend. From the days when we were playing house in the playground while our brothers played footy, to now when we are actually playing house in the real world, I can always count on her to be there for me. Even if it is to fly all the way across the country (with a 6 month old baby on her own) to come see me after surgery. That is just the kind of person she is. I can always have a laugh, a cry and whinge with this girl and know no matter what I say or do she will always love me as much I love her. So Cassi this is my shout out to you.

Tuesday's Super Mum

Today's Super Mum is my wonderful Mother In-Law (Well whom I consider my mother in-law as her son after almost six years together has still not made an honest woman out of me, but that is a whole other story). 

Denise has raised 3 beautiful young men and overcome so many challenges in doing so. She is such a strong and helpful person who has not only raised her own children, but chose to help look after other peoples children as a career. It is a wonderful experience to watch her now shine as a Grandmother to the most adorable Simon ( And soon to be new born Bub #2 for Brendan's brother and sister in-law). She has excepted me into their family with open arms and I am very thankful for that. 

Thank you Denise for raising my man Brendan to be the most handsome, caring and kindest man I have ever met.

Today the first Mum I want to share with you is my own beautiful Mother.

My Mother Vicki is simply and truly a Super Mum. Raising 1 beautiful child (Me) and 2 Ugly children, but they are pretty great big Brothers ;-) hehehehe. She does all that she can for us, worked to support us and always makes sure we are safe, happy and loved. She always sacrificed for our ever so expensive habits in sport and raised us all to be independent and most of all, be ourselves. I love you so much Mum and am very thankful for all that you have done for me.

Oh yeah and that is me in this picture. It was my first birthday party and I was totally in love with the cake ;-)

CT Freebie from Mommy Made This

Well hello everyone, I am so sorry it has been a long time since I blogged, I have been dog/house sitting for a friend without access to a computer. It has been hard however before I went to Dog/House sit I was excepted as a CT member for the wonderful Colleen at Mommy Made This. She is a wonderful designer and I had so much fun creating my first CT page and freebie for you all to collect.

First of all, I want to mention this beautiful new kit 'Earth Day Every Day'. If you head over to  Mommy Made This their are a few extra freebies available from the CT team and even more inspirational pages for the use of this nature loving kit.

The Kit & Cardstock are available at both Stuff to Scrap & Scraps n Pieces. I found it perfect for my nature photos, which is one of my favorite shots to take. I just love nature.

My CT page was inspired by one of my favorite spots in Australia, Bald Rock National Park, in Stanthorpe QLD. A beautiful bush walk with some wonderful spots to think and ponder. I loved the word art provided in this kit as I always have the urge to 'go green' and head out into nature when the hussel and bussel of this crazy city life, makes me go a little (or a lot as my poor man would say) crazy.

Another desktop calendar, this one was for April. I went for a girly approach to this one as April is my birth month!
